Just returned from the our snow-covered garage where my bikes sit adorned in their metallic silver covers, still months away from their first ride of 2010. Until then I'll just have to enjoy the magnificent Rockies visited by truck on our many ski trips to Lake Louise and Revelestoke. My grande cruiser is a chromed-out 2001 Honda Valkyrie, my sport tourer is a 2005 Honda VFR 800 and my wife rides a 1998 Honda Shadow Ace. Our collection includes two CFR230 dirt bikes, also of the 'Red' persuasion!! I moved out from Toronto almost 15 years ago and my only regret is that I didn't make the move when I was much younger. Needless to say, the highways and the vistas, especially as you drive into BC are amongst the best. I am a solitary rider and recent trips have included the Selkirk Loop through BC, Idaho and Montana; the Maritimes, California, and Mexico. This Summer I am planning to undertake a "48 States In 48 Days" journey which is keeping me tied to the computer as the logistics of the trip are determined and mapped out. It should be a fun trip!! Looking forward to exchanges with other members of GTA-Riders and being an active member of this Forum. To all the members Best Wishes for the New Year!!
